I have been coming to this hobby shop for years and have never left here with an unresolved problem. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and willling to teach and help when necessary. If you expect for them to do the work for you, then you are coming to the wrong place unless you are specifically paying for that service. This is a great place for a novice or a DIYer to do mechanical work. It does get pretty busy here on the weekends, so you need to plan ahead and have some patience. Dave and big Mike have been great help and if you run into an issue, just speak to the manager, he is always willing to listen and tries to resolve your issue. I have read some of the comments and some of the negative ones are not warranted. This is a place to come to if you don't mind getting your own hands dirty and want to learn basic to mid level automative skills. They also have a machine shop for those of you who go beyond the basics. Overall a great place to save some money and learn new skills.
Decent hobby shop. They have all the tools you'll need for a basic repair and the rates are cheap. The guys running the place have a tendency to stand over your shoulder and tell you what to do alot which gets annoying after a while.
This place is horrible. MCCS had overpriced everything. Don't come here unless you need a lift.
Yes, they have everything you need for repairs. Staff is not very helpful. I would just drive the extra fifteen minutes to air station. The gentlemen working there are very helpful and will do so if they see you struggling or about to do something that will cause more issues. Go to New River don't waste your time.
I'm only giving it three stars because I didn't like how the customer service was. Maybe they were having a bad day, I don't know. This is a convenient auto shop for do it yourself work. Jack bay's are 6$/hour and lift bay's are 8$/hour with free tool rental.
